It was a beautiful day on March 19, 2011 at Liberty Station
when Christie and Steve exchanged vows.
I remember it like it was yesterday. Christie and Steve arranged a “First Look” prior to the
wedding. We waited patiently in
the front of the church, and then Christie came from inside the church and
tapped Steve gently on the shoulder.
The look in his is eyes were priceless as he glanced at his bride for
the first time. They took a moment
to themselves, and then we were off to photograph the formals.
The Reception
The colors at the reception where blue and white, and the
centerpieces were large white Calla Lilies. The was a candy bar complete with blue and white gummy fish,
M&M’s, and blue string licorice and rock candy and so much more. A candy bar at a wedding is a real hit
with the kids and grown-ups. The
cake was a three-tier cake with white frosting, and blue ribbons wrapped at the
bottom of each layer. The cake has
been designed with an elegant floral pattern throughout. There is a group of Calla Lillis placed
on each tier and on the top of the cake.
