Christina and Daniel | Engagement Session | April 2012

I live here in sunny San Diego and this past week I had the opportunity to do a Engagement Photo Session at the Cerritos Sculpture Garden and Downtown Fullertown. Looking at the weather for the week I was worried that it was going to be a rainy day. When I arrived in Fullerton, the sun was shining at it was a beautiful day. I headed to the Cerritos Sculpture Garden prior to Christina and Daniels' arrival to check out the area and start developing my ideas. Once they arrive I was ready to start photographing them. The Cerritos Sculpture Garden was full of beautiful scenery to capture the personalities and love of Christina and Daniel.

After we finished at Cerritos Sculpture Garden, we headed to downtown Fullerton. Christina let down her hair and they change to a more urban and casual look and feel. When we got to downtown Fullertown we parked on a side street where we noticed a unique brick apartment building where a guy was sitting outside the front of his house playing guitar. We asked him if he would mind us taking photographs around his house and come to find out, this is a popular spot for photography. I think we captured really great photographs, as well as the rest of the photographs we captured while exploring the area. Christina and Daniel where fun, flirty and playful. It was a pleasure to work with them!

Nichole and Tim | Wiens Winery | June 18, 2011

I have known Nichole professionally for a while before photographing her wedding. We met each other at a Real Estate Program here in San Diego that I volunteered for in 2011 and was invited back to be their photographer this year. At the event Nichole informed me that she was getting married and she was looking for a photographer; and that she wanted to hire me for the job. I was very excited to work with Nichole and Tim because they are fun and wonderful people to be around.

Nichole and Tim's wedding was June 18, 2011 at Wien's Winery in Temecula. It is a beautiful venue for a wedding and the staff is wonderful!

At the wedding Nichole and Tim did not see each other before the wedding. The wanted to save the moment he saw her for the first time as she walked down the aisle. After the wedding we took their formal photographs where they walked through the vineyard, and we took photographs of the along a gated community that sits behind Wiens. It is a beautiful setting for photographs.

The one thing a really enjoyed about Nichole and Tim's wedding is the details. I was able to take Nichole's dress to the back gate where I was able to get some great details photographs. I was also able to photograph great detail shots of Nichole's bouquet, the wine box, cake, reception room and so much more.

Lisa & Rick | 4.23.11 | Thursday Club

The sun was shining bright at the Thursday Club on April 23, 2011, just one year ago and it was the perfect day. I arrived early to get photographs of the girls getting ready, and the detail shots of Lisa’s wedding dress and shoes. The room where the girls were getting ready was full of love and laughter.

What I loved the most was all the details of their wedding day. The wedding cake was stunning. It was a beautiful green icing, with delicate floral scrolls to add accent. The center piece were tall floral candelabras, the had a complete candy bar.
